For salon and service owners in Malaysia

WhatsApp follow-ups, without the blasts.

The first question owners ask about any software that touches WhatsApp: will it spam my customers? It is the right question. Your WhatsApp number carries years of trust, and a tool that sends in your name can spend that trust in one afternoon. Kipas is built on a different rule, and it is the first rule in our guide: nothing is ever sent for you.

The assisted-message model

Kipas prepares; your staff sends. Every reminder, follow-up, and booking confirmation appears in a Messages queue as a prepared WhatsApp message. A staff member taps it, reads it, edits it if the situation calls for it, and presses send from your own WhatsApp number. If nobody taps, nothing goes out. There is no connected WhatsApp API, no scheduled broadcast, and no platform number between you and your customer.

The morning has its own rhythm: Start morning queue presents the day's reminders and follow-ups one at a time, so the counter works through them between customers. Skip records that an item was set aside on purpose, which is different from forgotten.

Review due WhatsApp work by lane, then record the action the team took.

  1. 1Lane counts show which message work is waiting.
  2. 2WhatsApp opens a prepared message for staff review.
  3. 3Status actions keep the queue honest without claiming delivery.

Why not just automate it?

Automated blasts read as blasts. Customers answer humans. A prepared message that a person glances at before sending catches the things software cannot: the customer who already walked in this morning, the tone that fits a regular of six years, the reminder that should wait because the last visit ended with a complaint. The queue keeps the speed of automation; the tap keeps the judgment.

It also keeps you on the right side of your customers' expectations. Nothing arrives from an unknown business number, and every message comes from the same chat thread they already know.

What gets prepared for you

Each one lands in the queue with the customer's name and the message text already composed. Staff review every message before it opens in WhatsApp. The guide's first chapter states the rule formally.

Kipas is a salon and service POS built for Malaysia. WhatsApp stays yours: assisted, reviewed by your staff, never sent for you.
