14KEEPING IT HEALTHY
Good habits & the words we use
Small rituals that keep the books clean and the customers coming back.
14.1 Daily
- Morning: glance at Overview, then use Start morning queue to work through each due reminder and follow-up before doors.
- Midday: spend ten minutes in Messages > Follow-ups. Review expiring credit, lapsed regulars, and customers with no next booking.
- Night: Daily Closing, every branch, no exceptions. Count, enter, close.
14.2 Weekly & monthly
- Read the Monday digest email; skim Reports for the trend, not just the day.
- Slow week ahead? A small Promotion voucher drop beats a quiet diary.
- Month end: Commissions → export CSV → payroll. Peek at Audit Log while you're there.
THE WHOLE PHILOSOPHY IN ONE LINE
Serve at the counter, correct with the owner, close every night, and let the app remember everything else.
14.3 The words we use
| WORD | MEANING |
|---|---|
| Void | "This sale was a mistake." Removed from the books; credit/visits restored; owner-only. |
| Refund | "The sale happened; value went back later." Stays in history; counts on its issue date; owner-only. |
| Tender | How money moved: cash, card, e-wallet (or package credit / free visit, which aren't new money). |
| Package | Prepaid credit, sometimes with an expiry. Sold in POS; spent with Use credit. |
| Membership | A plan: member prices for everyone on it, free visits for the buyer only. |
| Buyer / shared member | Who bought the plan (prices + free visits) vs who shares it (prices only). |
| Closing | The nightly seal on a branch's day. Locked days are why your numbers can be trusted. |
| Audit Log | The permanent record of every sensitive action: who, when, why. |
